Office chair massage
Chair massage definition
Office chair massage uses thumbs, palms, elbows ... with pressure. It is a seated massage on a special chair. The client doesn't have to undress. A workplace chair massage takes 15 / 20 minutes.
It is a stress release therapy of back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and head. It is also revitalizing. Chair massage stimulates the muscles and nerve tissue. Blood circulation improves. It strengthens the immune system, keeping stress and fatigue away. A chair massage course can be learned without specific foreknowledge.
The rediscovery of chair massage began in 1980 when David Palmer experimented with giving massages on a chair.
